NeedleBook collects information you provide when creating or using an account, including account credentials, artist or studio profile details, contact information, business settings, availability, and billing-related account status.

Booking and request information can include names, email addresses, mobile numbers, dates of birth, service preferences, descriptions, preferred dates, notes, uploaded reference images, existing-tattoo images, and related communications. Studios and artists may maintain client and appointment records in NeedleBook.

When used, consent and release forms can include acknowledgements, typed signatures, guardian details, timestamps, and immutable snapshots of the form presented. Payment and deposit flows may include transaction status, amount, and provider identifiers; NeedleBook does not store complete payment-card numbers.

Profile setup may use provider information such as Google Places business details and selected photos. We may also process technical, operational, fraud-prevention, and security information such as request metadata, service logs, browser or device information, and error records when available from our hosting and service providers.

We use information to operate public discovery, process booking requests, support artist and studio workflows, maintain calendars and client records, administer consent forms and deposits, secure accounts, prevent abuse, provide support, troubleshoot the service, and comply with applicable obligations.

We use mobile numbers and affirmative SMS consent records only for requested transactional or operational communications, consent auditing, and opt-out enforcement.

Mobile numbers and SMS consent information are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may share this information only with service providers necessary to deliver requested communications, process opt-outs, secure the service, or otherwise operate NeedleBook.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for assistance. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase.

NeedleBook relies on service providers for hosting, database and storage, authentication, payments, business-place data, transactional email, SMS delivery, deployment, and security. These providers may process information on our behalf under their own service terms. Current infrastructure may include Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, Google Places, Resend, and Twilio where the related feature is configured.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect people or the service, investigate abuse, enforce our terms, or complete a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. Public artist, studio, portfolio, availability, and discovery information is visible as configured by the account owner.

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain booking, payment, consent, security, and audit records, resolve disputes, and meet applicable obligations. Retention periods vary by record type and account relationship.

Depending on your relationship with NeedleBook and applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, export, or delete certain information. Some records may be retained when required for security, transactions, consent evidence, legal obligations, or the rights of other users. Booking-specific requests should also be directed to the responsible artist or studio.

We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information, including authentication, access controls, private storage, row-level database policies, and server-side handling of sensitive credentials. No system can guarantee absolute security.

NeedleBook is not directed to children for independent account use. Artists and studios remain responsible for age requirements and guardian procedures applicable to services involving minors.

We may update this policy as the service changes. Material updates will be reflected by a revised effective date or other reasonable notice.
